済州島
済州島（チェジュとう、さいしゅうとう）は、大韓民国（韓国）済州特別自治道に属する島。朝鮮半島の西南、日本海、東シナ海、黄海の間にある火山島。その付属島嶼と併せて大韓民国済州特別自治道を構成する。人口は約55万人、面積は1,845km²。15世紀初め頃までは耽羅という独立した王国があった。なお朝鮮語では「島」と「道」は同じ音なので、「済州島」と「済州道」の区別に注意が必要である。
以前の西洋では、オランダ統治時代の台湾から長崎に向かう途中に難破したオランダの商船に因んで、Quelpart（귤밭、橘밭、「みかん畑」の意）と呼ばれていた。
